As if it wasn’t bad enough that despite being a British citizen I’m apparently incapable of ever passing the British Citizenship test (numerous goes at the various online versions have ended in complete and humiliating failure), now it looks like the knuckledraggers who post on the white-nationalist-fascist-scum Stormfront forums want to have me deported.
During a recent discussion over there about the Norwich North by-election one of its more evolved members, that is, a Nazi who can not only use a keyboard to spout bile on the Internet but who can even add links and shit too, decided to post my piece about the lies the BNP had been printing in their election leaflets: Lies and the lying liars who tell them, or The BNP’s lies in Norwich North as it was called when it was cross-posted at Liberal Conspiracy. On top of that, said Nazi also decided to post a piccie of my good self to illustrate the article, one that he nabbed off my Facebook profile.
Now after a minor panic about how the hell he’d got hold of a photo I’ve only ever used on Facebook, and after taking some advice from friends about Internet security (cheers Sunny), I decided to remove my FB profile from public view. I hadn’t actually realised that doing that would have a knock-on effect anywhere else, but I’m delighted and amused to report that this action has led to my photo on the Stormfront forum being replaced by a generic faceless avatar.
Why am I amused by this?
Because my threatened deportation appears to be based on my appearance alone. More specifically, the Nazi fascist scum want me booted off this sceptred isle because I look like I might be a lesbian.
I’m not linking (if you want to find the discussion yourself it’s headed Norwich north parliamentary by-election – Thursday 23rd July), but here’s a selection from the comments:
Nazi no. 1: “As for the BNP in Norwich – They seem to have upset the hairy armpit brigade” (Followed by my photo and article with a link to LibCon.)
Nazi no. 2: “Is that a Lesbian? (no, it’s a generic faceless avatar you numpty)
Whatever it is, it looks like a real nasty piece of work. The sort that would get all “offended” and then start abusing you if you told her you were voting BNP. People like her will have to be deported too when nationalists gain power.…..I would bet a lot of money that this bitch doesn’t live anywhere near the invaders yet continues to brag about how wonderful they are.”
Nazi no. 3: “Isn’t it always the lonely white middle class woman or the lesbian or those liberal elite clergymen with nothing but time on their hands who shout loudest for the poor trampled on African who has had to travel thousands of miles across different countries to get their nice new house and benefits in madhouse UK ?”
So, the questions are: 1) apart from Lesbos of course, where on Dawkin’s good earth are the nazi fascist scum planning to deport me once they gain power? And 2) if the deportation selection criteria is going to be based on people looking like nasty pieces of work, how many skinhead fascists do they think will be left here after the grand cull? I mean seriously, the BNP and their acolytes are hardly what you’d call top totty themselves are they?
What I did find interesting was the attitude expressed on the forum of so-called English nationalists towards their fellow country men and women. Bearing in mind these are the people who allegedly want to preserve England for the English ‘cos the English are the greatest race and all the rest of that crap, this is what they actually think of the rest of the great British public:
Nazi no. 4: (talking about the BNP candidate the Rev Robert West) “Its time to drop the reverend. Having a fake vicar puts us down with the crank candidates and thats where our vote has ended up.
People aren`t stupid ( well actually they are on the whole) but they have seen through this fake Reverend gimmick.”
Nazi no. 5: “The point is he is not a fake Reverend. And most of the people are incredibly stupid.“
Nazi no. 5 again: “The general public are dumb and can be led to believe anything.”
Genius Nazi no. 6 who can even do anagrams: “Are these people really worth trying to save ? I’m beginning to wonder. The brave few left standing will save this place , not these bunch of tnucs , feck em .”
I make no comment on the irony of BNP and Stormfront thugs questioning other people’s intellectual capabilities…..
The rest of the debate then veers off into a discussion about the BNP’s failure to get anywhere in the Norwich North election. Interestingly, the consensus seems to be that the BNP is becoming too cuddly and multi-cultural, and that if only they’d go back to their roots and start looking and sounding like the National Front and Combat 18 which spawned them again, they might stand some chance of success:
Nazi no 7: “What these results should underscore to everybody is that bleating “I’m not a racist”, publicising that you have jewish members and support the bandit state of israel, telling the world you have members with non-White wives and mixed race kids, making unlikely claims that Sikhs and blacks form part of your vote – none of that will earn you one extra vote and will take you not one step nearer winning a parliamentary seat, Parliament being the only place, as the Lancaster site points out, worth winning election to.
I hope, but doubt, that the Norwich result and the terrible post June results will be the catalyst for returning the BNP to the course from which it strayed in 1999 and that it can become again the party that unites White Nationalists who aren’t afraid to be called “racist” and who aren’t going to blame everybody and everything in sight when the going gets tough.”
By everybody and everything in sight I take it he means other white nationalists, because if the debate on that forum is anything to go by, the only people BNP-voting white nationalist Englishmen don’t hate is other BNP-voting white nationalist Englishmen: it’s open season on everyone else.
But anyway, the white nationalists needn’t worry about finding somewhere to dump me. I’ve already started making plans for my escape from Blighty following this brilliant suggestion from an MRA troll here on this very site:
“If you despise men so much, why don’t you all pool resources, buy an island, name it “Menfuckoffland” and take your hate with you to die out when the last of you croaks.”
Anyone care to join me?
There are worse places to go than Lesbos Cath. Even if you aren’t a lesbian.
“Is that a Lesbian? (no, it’s a generic faceless avatar you numpty)
Actually it looks like Tintin to me…but anyway this made me giggle.

Hah! I nearly wrote Tintin in the brackets Polly.
Actually I’d quite like to buy the UK, and rename it Griffinfuckoffland and deport him. Just waiting to win the Euromillions jackpot really.
Don’t expect an answer from Stormfront to your question Cath.
History tells us that these people were never forthcoming on the matter of destination for those from all over Europe, who they herded by the million into railway carriages.
And despite the flaky veneer of respectability they try to stop us scraping off, they haven’t changed.
LMAO.
Glad that the thugs lost access to your picture – you must really be doing something right to make them deport you. All I did was be born in this here country. 😉
Or rather, want to deport you. Dammit!
I’d love to join you in/on “Menfuckoffland”, sounds lovely, but as a man, I’m not sure that I’d be welcome. (I am very in touch with my feminine side though).
‘Actually it looks like Tintin to me’
ffs, polly i was gonna say that – i hate you (but what is one more among so many).
i’m forgetting my manners – hello, cath; i have just trolled on here in polly’s wake so hope i’m not crashing where i’m not wanted.
I bet they’ll think of something, Cath! 🙂

BTW – Ciao!
Tiger you’re more than welcome to join me. In fact you’re not the first bloke in the last couple of days who’s asked the same question.
Lordy, I’ll never make it as a separatist at this rate 🙂
Hi SW, and welcome.
Sorry for the delay in your comments appearing btw folks, but I was out for the day. Now you’ve posted once your comments should go through automatically in future.
“The general public are dumb and can be led to believe anything.”
Sounds like straight-up fascism to me, nothing unusual there.
Lordy, I’ll never make it as a separatist at this rate
Yup I’m going to have to expel you from feminism as well Ms Elliott. You will RESPECT MY AUTHORITAH!

….favourite south park ever….
If the BNP is going to deport everyone who disagrees with them the UK is going to become the most stupid Island in the world. I’d like to see them running the trains, nuclear power stations, sewerage works etc – make that the most polluted and irraditated Island in the world.
Just to say sod ’em Cath – I can’t say i agree with everything you write but don’t care: you are one of the good guys, and thy island is also my island.
What worries me more than anything over the BNP is not that they represent fascism, which is obviously terrifying in itself, but the degree of disillusionment with mainstream politics in the areas where they’re popular. How is this to be addressed?
hi thanks for share,i always came to visit ur Blog:)
stephen says:

Actually their manifesto includes a lot of traditionally socialist policies. Cath sees them as thick which I regard as a mistake – they are quite cleverly run.
They came 7th in the Scottish Euro elections, a long way behind 6th placed UKIP it’s true but still ahead of the Scottish Socialist party.
edwin –
i can see why you think it is a mistake to see them as thick, as we don’t want to underestimate their persuasive skills, or cast them aside as a bunch of idiots that we can ignore. but at the same time, i think we need to exopse them as thick in some ways. for example, when the BNP mep was interviewed by krishnan on channel 4 news, he was so unarticulate, ranty and in many ways out of control, it really demonstrated how this party are incapable of real engagement or able to really justify their policies. they were simply, ridiculous! (unsurprising i know). i think by showing them up as posturing idiots, who have irrational, convoluted and muddled policies and arguments, we can undermine them and their horrible statements and ideas, far more than if we privilege them with intelligence. so i think it is ok to call them thick.

there is no such (philosophical) thing as voting correctly.

Hm still not convinced sianushka. One person’s irrationality is another’s common sense, and I prefer to take them seriously as a movement.
Some of their elected individuals are spectacularly thick I agree, but for many working-class people, laughing at BNP working-class representatives can sound awful like middle-class chortling.
I think they plot their way quite carefully nowadays. Their vote is small all over the UK – there is something un-British about them! – but they are not being run in a stupid manner. Even that bizarre election material – Polish squadron spitfires! – probably did them not much harm, despite our laughter.
They used to cover themselves in union flags in Scotland, but it’s now the St Andrews Cross. In the Euro election, they beat Sheridan’s lot and the SSP with virtually no presence on the ground. I think that’ll change.

I don’t think we should overestimate Griffin and co’s popularity though Stephen. For instance Nicky boy got elected 8% of a 32% turnout in the northwest. Which is hardly a mandate.

I understand that Nick Griffin went to public school and Cambridge. Hardly ‘working class’.
I agree, Polly, that overestimating BNP popularity also has its dangers. Within the north west, however, its popilarity seems concentrated in a few old mill towns. The sort of forces that unite it, I think, are the same as those that united trades unions in the olden days, a solidarity born out of real or perceived oppression. I just wish the messages were as healthy.
In many ways, I think the BNP is cashing in on much of the ground once occupied by Labour, in the days before it became a subsidiary of the Conservatives.

It is as it happens, whether it should be is another matter.
The British (national) system is also crafted not to require a plebiscite reflecting the actionable will of the masses, ( or direct democracy) which by tradition is gainsayed.
In Britain the govt only rarely trusts the people and vice versa.
First, who voted BNP? They were mainly men: their voted divided 61 per cent male, 39 per cent female. (Men comprise just 48 per cent in the electorate as a whole.)
They were also more working-class. In the country at large, professional workers outnumber manual workers by 20 per cent to 18 per cent. Among BNP voters the pattern is very different: 36 per cent manual workers, 11 per cent professionals.
One third of them read the Sun or Daily Star as against one in five adults generally; just 6 per cent of BNP voters read the upmarket papers (Times, Telegraph, Guardian etc), which is less than half the national average.
Yet the household income of the typical BNP voter (£27,000 a year) is only slightly below the national median (£29,000) – and not that far below that of a typical Conservative voter (£33,000).
It is not money that marks BNP voters apart as much as their insecurity. Just 19 per cent of BNP voters are “confident that my family will have the opportunities to prosper in the years ahead”.

A lot of Irish people also avoid all three of them.

I got 87.5% on my citizenship test. Without even swotting. I must say the questions are v strange though.

The good thing about being a British subject is that a Brit will come along and tell you the way things are going to be.

Oh dear Cath I think you’ve upset Nick Griffin….

OMFG!
Lol!
Thanks for that one Polly. I think I may have to give that gem a blog post all of its own.
OMG! That Griffin clip!
“But, general, ordinary women… I think are beautiful…”
Just not those that have an opinion then?!
Speaking as a Gorgon monstrosity – I look forward to meeting Nick Griffin, I can get him to look into my eyes – and hey presto he will be turned into stone. mwaahhahahahaha.
thats what Gorgons do, isnt it?
